This is just what you'd expect a deli to be on the Egg West strip. The walls are decked with photos, many of them of the Yitz family dating back to the turn of the century. Elsewhere, vintage movie posters and a wall of classic comic strips add to the well-worn ambience. There's also a bakery on the premises, which accounts for a lot of the takeout traffic. But they also come by to buy a stogie from the humidor: there are more than 100 to choose from, including Yitz's own of Cuban tobacco, hand-rolled in Canada. Don't be surprised to run into a line-up. As quoted in Smoke Magazine: "What better to wash down a Yitz's corn beef on rye than a fine cigar."
